About Yoga Therapy

While traditional talk therapies are able to effectively address many mental and emotional health challenges, movement therapy addresses deep emotional issues not revealed through talk therapy by paying attention to the communication of the body. Past trauma and other psychological concerns may have a negative effect on the autonomic nervous system, causing emotional and psychological issues, in addition to physical concerns such as hormonal imbalance, pain, or tension in specific parts of the body such as the head, neck, shoulders, joints, feet or stomach.
